Network Nodes are research teams based at the 12 participating health research institutions throughout Texas. Each Node supports a designated region, ensuring the research reflects the demographic and geographic diversity of the state. These Nodes actively recruit participants for research studies and conduct standardized assessments.
Each Network Node also has a designated Node Principal Investigator (PI) who is responsible for the local operations and adherence to the network-wide protocol. This multi-site structure allows the TX-CTRN to collect data from a large, diverse population of youth and their caregivers across Texas to better understand, prevent, and treat childhood trauma.
